Welcome!! We’re so grateful to get to meet you. Thank you for coming here to learn about buying the freshest and highest quality beef directly from a rancher.  Let’s start with a bit of what brought us to this point and why we love doing what we do!

Our mission at Unruh Meats is to give families access to healthy and affordable meat. You get direct access to our Eco-friendly, ethically raised cattle. And when you buy, you know it’s processed fresh from our ranch and goes directly to your door.

Have you ever wanted to know where your meat comes from? The goal of this website and our newsletters is to help you make responsible decisions by providing information about the animals, production practices and ethical sourcing behind each product featured on our site so you have more context before buying them.  

I am Andrea, a wife to Ted and a Mom to Benjamin. So I know just how important knowing all this is to you and your family.  When I married Ted, I started to realize the gift of  having farm raised meat at our fingertips.         

I love:

• the convenience of it!
• that it was a premium quality meat
• that I knew where it came from and how it was raised!
• the smell of this hamburger when frying it versus grocery store hamburger! 
• how I felt after eating it! It didn’t sit as heavy at all!
• paying for a bulk amount so I always have meat on hand!
• feeding it to friends and getting rave comments on the tenderness and flavour of the meat! 

This is why we wanted to share this same experience with other families. The result? High quality beef products straight out of our pasture direct to your door!

How Did We Get Here?

Ted, along with his Dad and Mom started  learning the art of regenerative farming and low stress handling in 2007. Then I came along, a town girl that knew nothing about farming! I jumped into this learning process with them because I saw the impact of  using less chemicals can have on the animals we raise which then affects us and our families. We have been blessed with some amazing teachers that have shared their knowledge and experiences with us. Because of them and the base that Ted built with his parents, we  provide you with the highest quality beef you can find.
