Return and Refund Policy
At Unruh Meats, we take pride in providing high-quality, farm-fresh bulk beef directly to our customers. Due to the perishable nature of our products and strict food safety standards, we are unable to accept returns or offer full refunds once an order has been delivered or picked up. However, your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to address any issues fairly and promptly. Please read our policy below for details.
1. No Returns or Full Refunds
- Because our beef is a perishable product, we cannot accept returns of any portion of your order. Once the beef has been delivered or picked up, it cannot be sent back to us due to health, safety, and quality concerns.
- Full refunds are not available after delivery or pickup has occurred, as we cannot resell or reuse the product.
2. Issues with Your Order
We stand behind the quality of our beef and are committed to ensuring you receive what you ordered. If there’s an issue with your order, such as the following, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your beef:
- Incorrect Order: You received a different cut, quantity, or product than what was ordered.
- Quality Concerns: The beef does not meet the quality standards promised (e.g., damaged packaging or product upon arrival).
To report an issue, please email Andrea at hello@unruhmeats.ca with your name that was attached to the order and a description of the problem. Photos may be requested to help us assess the situation.
3. Our Resolution Process
If we determine that an error occurred on our end (e.g., incorrect cuts or quantities), we will work with you to resolve the issue. Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- A partial refund proportional to the affected portion of your order.
- A discount on a future purchase.
- Replacement cuts or products on your next order (subject to availability).
Resolutions will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and we’ll do our best to make it right while maintaining fairness for both parties.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Order Accuracy: Please double-check your order details before finalizing your purchase. We are not responsible for errors due to incorrect information provided by the customer (e.g., wrong delivery address or order specifications).
- Storage: Proper storage of the beef after delivery or pickup is your responsibility. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for product spoilage due to improper handling or storage after it leaves our possession.
5. Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled with a full refund if requested at least 4 days before the scheduled processing date.
- Cancellations requested after this period will not be eligible for a refund, as we may have already begun preparing your order.
6. Deposits (If Applicable)
If your order requires a deposit, it is non-refundable once processing of your beef has begun. We will notify you when processing starts to keep you informed.
