Price Breakdown

The full price will be $7.15/lb on the carcass weight.

The average cost breakdown of a whole beef will look like this.

Average carcass weight will be approximately  670lbs - 800lbs.

Average total cost for the carcass will be approximately $4,790- $5,720

Average processing fee will be $1,100-$1,320

Approximate total cost will be $5,890 - $7,040

This $950 deposit is Non Refundable. 

The Deposit

  • After you pay the deposit, we'll send you an email with important details.
  • This email will include the butcher date and the butcher's contact information.

Receive Cutting Instructions

  • About a week after the butcher date, the butcher will call you to discuss your cutting preferences.
  • You get to choose how you want your beef cut!
  • If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to help with the cut sheet.
  • The butcher is also available to assist and answer any questions

Prepare Your Freezer

  • The beef needs to go directly from the butcher shop to your freezer.
  • Ensure your freezer is ready and that you have a flexible schedule to pick up the beef promptly.
  • Check the chart below to determine the freezer size you'll need

Final Payment

  • About 2 weeks before picking up your beef, we will send you the bill for the remaining amount.
  • You must pay this bill before you can pick up your beef.

Processing Fee

  • When you pick up your beef, you will pay the processing fee.
  • The approximate price will be $1,000 - $1,200

What You Will Get

  • The whole beef will provide approximately 380-420 lbs of meat.
  • This amount can feed a family of four for 8-12 months.
  • This will be the only beef purchase you need to make for the entire year!

The honest answer is that every animal is different, so we can't give you an exact number on how many pounds you'll take home. What we can do is walk you through exactly what cuts you'll have to choose from.

When you place your order, you'll fill out a cut sheet — basically a menu that tells our butcher exactly how you want your animal processed. Roasts or steaks? Thick chops or thin? Ground beef by the pound? You decide.
